Everyone loves the ball pit! Kids love playing in the ball pit. Unfortunately, this childhood institution may also act as a petri dish for disease.

In another episode of hit parenting comedy series Dads In Parks, comedian dads Jamie Kaler and Michael Beatrice discuss reinventing the ball pit for the safety and well-being of children and parents alike. Their ideas include:

• Individual pits for each child, instead of one giant pit
• A continuously flowing, self-cleaning “ball river” – that also gives kids a bath!
• A constant mist of disinfectant, like they use in bowling shoes
